apply linear algebra methods to solve practical problems,
-
gain a general understanding of the mathematical framework of linear algebra,
in particular the concept of a vector space,
-
understand the geometrical interpretations of linear algebra concepts,
for example the connection between determinates and area, and
-
gain some familarity with computer software for linear algebra applications.
