Required Texts: Linear Algebra: An Introduction, by R. Bronson, 1995 ed. (No others books, CDs or supplemental material is required or recommended.)
Homework: Home work will be collected regularly.
Tests: There will be two in class exams. Test 1 is on Monday, July 3. Test 2 is on Monday, July 24.
Final Exam: There will be a two hour comprehensive final exam on Thursday, August 3, 2:00-03:50, Neckers Hall 218.
Grades: Your course grade will then be computed as follows: Homework 20% (lowest four dropped), Tests 20% each, Final 40%.
Attendance: Class attendance is required. If you do not pick up your graded homework, the grade will be converted to a zero.
Cheating: The minimum penalty for cheating on a test is a grade of F in the course. The Dean of the College of Science may wish to take further action. This is a big no no. There may be multiple versions of the tests. You may work together on the homework but the work you turn in should be your own. Computer printout should have your name printed on them. Copying from a "solutions manual" is regarded as plagiarism.
