Test 1 Review sheet
It will cover 7.1-7.4, 4,4, 7.7, 7.8,
8.1-8.3, & 10.1-10.3. Test problems will not be identical to the suggested
homework, but some will be similar. Test problems cannot be as hard as some of
the homework problems, but ideas developed while doing homework can
come up.
Here are formulas you need to know:
- Arc length: y vs x, x vs y, and parametric. (Polar won't be on this test.)
- Surface area: same types.
- Be able to set up hydrostatic integrals
- Centriod/center of mass
- Know "Fundamental Trig Identities" (See inside front cover).
Others will be given.
- Know your Cal I integrals: no more hints.
