Homework: Homework is due each Monday. No late homework without a medical excuse. You may work together on the homework but the work you turn in should be your own. You are prohibited from using any solutions manuals. See the Homework Guidelines for more information.
Quizzes: There will be occasional quizzes.
Tests: There will be three midterm exams. Tentative dates are September 19, October 17, and November 30.
Final: There will be a two hour comprehensive final exam. The exam date will be announced later. It will be in our regular classroom.
Grades: Your course grade will be computed as follows. Homework & quizzes will count 1/6th with the lowest three dropped. Each one hour test is 1/6th. The final is 2/6ths.
Attendance: Class attendence is very importment. Students who miss math classes regularly rarely pass. You cannot makeup homework or quizzes, and if you do not pickup your graded homework or quiz you will lose the points.
Cheating: The minimum penalty for cheating is a grade of F in the course. The Dean of the College of Science may wish to take further action. There will be multiple versions of the tests and the final. You are prohibited from using any solutions manuals.
