Homework: Homework is due each Friday. No late homework without a medical excuse. You may work together on the homework but the work you turn in should be your own. You are prohibited from using any solutions manuals. See the Homework Guidelines for more inforamtion.
Tests: There will be two midterm exams. Tentative dates are Monday, February 20 and Monday, April 10. Some practice exams are on the webpage.
Final: There will be a two hour comprehensive final exam. The exam date is Monday, May 8, 8:00-10:00 p.m. It will be in our regular classroom.
Grades: Your course grade will be computed as follows: Homework 20% (lowest two dropped), Tests 40%, Final 40%.
Attendance: Class attendance is required. If you do not pick up your graded homework, the grade will be converted to a zero.
Cheating: The minimum penalty for cheating is a grade of F in the course. The Dean of the College of Science may wish to take further action including suspension. There will be multiple versions of the tests and the final. You are prohibited from using any solutions manuals.
