405 Projects
Probably the best way to find a project idea is to consider some
of the more challenging homework problems, or connected sequences
of problems. Below is a link to an example based on a problem back
in Chapter 2.

Ideally your project should be something you would be proud to show
off during a job interview. Projects may be done individually or in
groups of two or three. Groups projects will need to be more extensive
than individual ones.
If you decide to do a project please follow this time-line:
- Submit a written Project Proposal on or by March 29.
This should be two or three paragraphs; no more than a page.
- Once your proposal is approved, submit a brief
Project Progress report to me each Monday.
This should be about a paragraph and include a
sample of the work.
- The project is due Friday May 3.
Make sure you do not plagiarize. I have a copy of the Student Solutions Manual
and am not afraid to press formal charges of academic dishonesty.
