Textbook: Introduction to Topology, by James Munkres, 2nd Edition. Amazon

Syllabus: We cover sections 12-37, 41, 48, 51-55. If time permits we will do additional topics from 56-60, 67-78.

Office Hours: MWF 11-12. Neckers 385.

Homework is to be done individually, not in groups.
You should discuss and compare you homeworks after you get them back.
Do not search the internet looking for solutions.
I will know if you do this. I will give you an F if you turn in work that is not yours.

Tests: There will be a midterm and a final. The final is scheduled for Monday Decemeber 14, 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm. This is right before the Math Common Final Exam time. So, I will try to move it. (Looking at Wednesday, 12:30-4:30. It is normally a four hour exam.

Grades: Homework is 30%, midterm is 30%, final is 40%.

I will post homework assignments here. Scroll down for handouts.
